Pahinungod Festival promotes the cultural diversity of Carrascal. Highlighted the festive mardigras are different cultures proliferating from the past up to the present - the Manobo's of Pantukan and the Bol-anons of Doyos.
With the influx of technology, Carrascal still promotes the artistic inclinations of the young ones via Miss Carrascal. The Ambasadress of Goodwill will be the one to spread Carrascal's uniqueness to neighboring towns.
The Municipal Tourism Council is continuing to conceptualize and plan for activities that would enhance cultural preservation and the promotion of local Arts.

Candido White Beach
This particular strip of a beach is having that fine white sand which could soothe not just the tensed muscles but the tired senses as well. Here in this mini-paradise, you could spend a lot of tranquil moments with your family, loved ones and even do a lot of bonding with friends.
Baybay-Bonot Beachline
Most frequented beach by the town folks and neighboring towns during Sundays. It has dark brownish sand and shallow waters.
Marine Sanctuary
Located in Barangay Caglayag, this is designed to prevent and control illegal fishing in the municipality.

The municipality of Carrascal is located in the northeastern portion of Surigao del Sur. It is bounded in the north by the municipality of Claver, Surigao del Norte, in the south by the municipality of Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, in the east by Pacific Ocean and in the west by the province of Agusan del Norte.
